John earned his Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 1974 from DePaul University. He received his Masters of Science in Taxation in 1976, also from DePaul University. John is an expert in corporate and individual taxation and tax policy. He is also well versed in financial planning and consulting for both businesses and individuals.
Upon graduating from DePaul, he began working in an international public accounting firm. From there he worked in a large, closely held manufacturing company as the staff CPA and accountant. It was the experience he gained in these two industries that allowed him to become a partner in a small CPA firm in Chicago.
After becoming partner in that firm John realized that he wanted to go out on his own and start his own firm, so in 1992 he did just that. He did this because he values the face-to-face time with his clients and cultivating those relationships. He realizes that our relationships with our clients is what sets us apart from our competition. John goes out of his way to make every client feel as though they are our only client.
In addition to having 40 years experience as a CPA, he has also taught Corporate and Partnership tax at DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
